Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at this K-Source Replacement Side View Mirror. This is going to be a direct replacement for the passenger side factory mirror on your 1998 to 2004 Nissan Frontier as well as your 2000 to 2004 Nissan Xterra. This is modeled after your Nissan's original look and fit. So, you really shouldn't be able to tell that it's a replacement mirror.

It should look like it came with the Nissan, right from the factory. So, you don't have to worry about that piece together from the junkyard sort of look. Everything should look very integrated and seamless. And it is going to be very easy to install because it has the same footprint as the original mirror so it's going to be as simple as taking the old mirror off. Putting this one in its place, you're not going to have to worry about drilling holes or anything like that.

Very simple to install. Definitely, something that you could do as a weekend project to make sure that your Nissan is going to be a complete again. This does have the manual mirror face adjustment so that you can line up your viewing angle to make sure that you're able to see everything that's coming up behind you or as you're backing up. It is an OE grade product so it's going to have the same quality construction as the original. The front of the glass is plated with a reflective chrome so it's going to give you a nice, clear image.

And it is a convex lens, like most passenger side mirror so you're going to get more of a wide angle view that's going to help reduce those blind spots, again, to make sure that you're being safe. It does have a breakaway design, so if you we're to hit the side of your garage or a parking post or something like that, the mirror is going to fold in on itself to try and help absorb some of that impact and reduce the amount of damage done to the housing. But, it is a nice durable plastic housing with a black finish, so it should hold up really well for you. Now, for those of you who do need a little bit more reassurance that this is going to work for your vehicle, this is going to replace the original equipment part number that you see on the screen there. So, as you're taking the original off if you see that part number, or if you see it in the owner's manual of your vehicle, you can trust this is going to be the product that you need.

So overall, I think this is going to be a really nice option if you are missing the passenger side mirror to make sure that your vehicle is complete again. It gives you that nice factory look and it's going to make sure that you're safe as you're going down the road, whether you're changing lanes or backing up.
